Will include exclusive GIF collections for Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, and more, centered around each character’s unique “emotional graph”

Tenor, the largest and fastest-growing mobile GIF platform, is partnering with Warner Brothers to promote its anticipated Justice League film, set to hit theaters on November 17th, 2017. The partnership consists of exclusive GIFs from the film, featured GIF collections for each character, and a Justice League-themed app icon for the GIF Keyboard app on iOS.

Tenor began working with Warner Brothers to promote Justice League in 2016. In July 2017, Tenor drove 95 million views of Justice League GIFs in one weekend. In the lead up to the release of the movie, Tenor and Warner Bros. are coming together once again to drive interest and consumer buzz via Tenor’s #1 GIF Keyboard app.

Over the course of this partnership, millions of searches have been conducted on Tenor for Justice League characters, generating extensive GIF search data. This data directly influences the GIFs being developed for the launch of the movie, and helps surface them for consumers.

More than 90% of GIF searches center around a specific emotion, or reaction consumers want to express. Tenor has developed emotional graphs for each Justice League character based on the sentiments consumers most often want to express when sharing GIFs of each character in messaging apps.

In order to promote the release of Justice League to global audiences, Tenor is translating captions on Justice League GIFs into a range of languages — 15 — for the first time. These include Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Russian, Italian, English, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Simplified Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Korean.

Warner Brothers will additionally be supporting the Tenor GIF partnership with a social media campaign.

More than 300 million people each month use Tenor to add tone to their mobile messaging conversations by adding GIFs that visually communicate their thoughts and feelings — better than words ever could. We process more than 300M mobile search requests daily and have used this data to build the Tenor Emotional Graph, which powers our GIF Keyboard app and GIF sharing for partners including Apple iMessage, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Twitter, Google Gboard, Kik, LinkedIn, TouchPal and others.
